Vitória Faria represents clients in a wide range of matters related to antitrust/competition, competition compliance, and international trade.
She has extensive experience in administrative proceedings before the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE), including mergers, sanction proceedings, and settlement negotiations, both at CADE’s General Superintendence and before the Administrative Tribunal.
Coordinator of the Competition Law Study Group at FD/USP for the 2023–2026 term.
First Place, Best Speaker Award at the 3rd WIA-CADE Competition Law Competition (2023).
Vitória completed her undergraduate degree at the University of São Paulo School of Law, having successfully defended her Final Course Project (“Thesis”) with a recommendation from her advisor to compete for the title of Best Thesis of 2025 at the school, with the paper entitled “Challenges and Perspectives on the Role of CADE, INPI, and ANVISA in Improving the Quality of Patent Granting and the Assessment of Drug Patent Abuse in Brazil.”
She also had her undergraduate research project approved under the title of “The Interface between Competition and Industrial Property: The Pharmaceutical Industry and the Guarantee of the Right to Health” at the 33rd International Symposium on Scientific and Technological Research at USP.
