In Análise Advocacia 2023/2024, GCA was ranked in 1st place as the most admired specialized firm in Competition Law, as well as being highlighted in Food, Beverages, and Tobacco, Automotive and Auto Parts, Rubber and Plastics, Construction and Engineering, Pharmaceutical, Machinery and Equipment, Consumer Products, Chemical and Petrochemical, Steel and Mining, Technology, Electrical Energy, and Specialized Services, and in the State of São Paulo.

Leonor Cordovil, Mauro Grinberg, and Ricardo Motta were named among the most admired lawyers in the country in Competition Law, with Leonor Cordovil reaching 1st place in this area, in the Technology sector, and in the state of São Paulo.

Moreover, GCA was also highlighted in Análise Advocacia Regional 2024. It was awarded 1st place among firms with specialized practices in the greater São Paulo area. Lastly, partners Leonor Cordovil and Karen Ruback represented GCA in Análise Mulher 2024, receiving nominations in more than 20 categories, with Leonor getting 1st place in Competition Law, Rubber and Plastics, Construction and Engineering, Specialized Services, Steel and Mining, Technology, and São Paulo.

GCA was recognized by Chambers Brazil: Contentious 2024 in the areas of Competition and International Trade. During the same awarding ceremony, Mauro Grinberg was classified as a Senior Statesman in Competition/Antitrust, and Bernardo Leite was mentioned as an Associate to Watch in International Trade. Leonor Cordovil and Ricardo Motta were listed in both specialties.

In Chambers Global 2024, GCA is also ranked for its performance in the International Trade area. Leonor Cordovil and Ricardo Motta each received awards in the same category.

The Legal 500 Latin America 2024 recognized GCA among the best firms in Competition and Antitrust in Brazil, while also listing them in Tier 2 in International Trade.

In addition, the publication highlights Mauro Grinberg and Leonor Cordovil as "leading individuals. Karen Ruback, Ricardo Motta, and Beatriz Cravo have been nominated as "next generation partners," and Bernardo Leite mentioned as a “rising star.” The publication also put Leonor Cordovil in the Hall of Fame of Competition and Antitrust.

GCA was a finalist in The Legal 500 Brazil Awards 2024, competing with nine other law firms for the title of “Law Firm of The Year” in the areas of Competition and Antitrust. Partners Mauro Grinberg and Leonor Cordovil were also finalists in the category of “Lawyer Firm of The Year” for Competition and Antitrust.

In 2021, GCA won the award for being the best Competition Law Firm in Brazil. (The Legal 500 Brazil Awards), offered by The Legal 500, with the following specific highlight: “Clearly one of the top competition law boutiques in the market, and not just due to both its longevity and stability of the core team, but also, and particularly, its excellence in conduct work, ability to take on key roles for major clients, and the most sensitive of cases, as well as its efficiency and effectiveness handling merger clearance applications before CADE.”

GCA was classified as "Highly Recommended" in the area of Competition Law in Brazil by Global Competition Review. Leonor Cordovil and Ricardo Motta were nominated to compete for the award of “Best Lawyer of 2018” by GCR. In 2020, the firm was nominated in the “Firm of the Year” category and Leonor Cordovil was once again recommended to compete for the “Lawyer of the Year” award. Furthermore, three cases counseled and represented by the firm were nominated for awards and became finalists in the GCR Awards that year: the “Disney/Fox” merger in the “Merger Control Matter of the Year” category and the administrative proceedings “CADE Investigation of Google's Search Practices” and “Raízen/Shell’s Acquittal of Cartel Allegation” both in the “Behavior Matter of the Year” category. GCA and Leonor Cordovil were also finalists at the GCR Awards in the categories of law firm and featured lawyer of the year.

GCA was once again ranked by Who’s Who Legal: Thought Leaders in 2023. This is an award that highlights the most excellent professionals among those already considered the best in the world. In this edition, Mauro Grinberg was classified as a “global elite” in the category of M&A and Governance, while Leonor Cordovil was said to be a “global elite” in Competition and Trade & Customs.

In 2022, GCA was also present in Who’s Who Legal: Global Guide and Who’s Who Legal: National Guide with mention of Mauro Grinberg, Leonor Cordovil, Ricardo Motta, and Bernardo Leite.

GCA was recognized again as “Excellent” in Leaders League Brazil 2024, in the categories of Antitrust Investigation and Civil Reparation for Competitive Damages. Mauro Grinberg and Karen Ruback were mentioned in both rankings. Ricardo Motta was spoken of in the Civil Reparation for Competitive Damages category, and Leonor Cordovil was cited in the Antitrust Investigation category.

In another round of the Leaders League Brazil 2024, GCA was recognized as “Highly Recommended” in Merger Control with references given to Leonor Cordovil, Mauro Grinberg, and Karen Ruback, while at the same time receiving “Recommended” in International Trade with reference to Ricardo Motta.
