Beatriz has more than 14 years of experience in antitrust/competition, being part of GCA’s team since the firm was established. Beatriz advises clients on a full range of antitrust/competition issues, such as complex merger notifications and investigations of anti-competitive practices, including negotiations of agreements with antitrust authorities. Beatriz also provides legal advice on the development and training of antitrust compliance programs, as well as risk assessment of mergers, contracts and commercial practices. She advises clients in a variety of industries, ranging from telecom, healthcare, agribusiness, steel and fuel to electronic and audiovisual, among others.

Beatriz holds a Master’s in International Economic Law from Paris 1 – Panthéon-Sorbonne, a specialization in Economic Law from the Law School of Fundação Getúlio Vargas/SP, and a Bachelor of Law from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo – PUC/SP. She is also a member of IBRAC, ABA’s Transport and Energy Committee, and Women in Antitrust (WIA). Beatriz has contributed articles to several publications, including the Pipeline (ABA). She is also a reviewer for CADE’s Brazilian Competition Journal (Revista de Defesa da Concorrência).
