O presidente interino do Brasil, Michel Temer, terá, ao menos nos próximos seis meses, poderes restritos para fazer indicações para as agências reguladoras, sendo que, caso a presidente Dilma seja cassada, estes aumentaram substancialmente, implicando em virtual renovação do quadro técnico-político destas entidades. Isto também ocorrerá no CADE, vez que o mandato de Vinícius Marques de Carvalho, o atual presidente da entidade, termina no final do mês Maio. A nomeação do Presidente do CADE será feita por Michel Temer, após a aprovação do indicado pelo Senado Federal; sendo que a indicação de nomes ao cargo é geralmente realizada pelo Ministro/Ministério da Justiça, ao qual o CADE é vinculado. Ainda não se tem notícias de possíveis indicados pelo atual Ministro, Alexandre de Moraes.
13/05/2016Brazil’s interim president, Michel Temer, will have limited powers, at least during the next six months, to appoint names for regulatory agencies; being that, if president Dilma is removed from office, these powers will increase substantially, leading to a virtual renovation of the technical-political personnel of these entities. This renovation will also occur within CADE, since the term of the current president of the agency, Vinícius Marques de Carvalho, expires at the end of May. The nomination of CADE’s President will be made by Michel Temer, after Senate approval. The appointment of names for the position is usually done by the Minister/Ministry of Justice, to which CADE is linked. There is no word on possible names to be indicated by the new Minister, Alexandre de Moraes.
