Leonor is a co-founder of the firm and has over 20 years of experience in antitrust/competition, trade defense, regulatory, and consumer law. Her work in these areas has always been combined with her academic life, producing various works in all of them. Leonor has been involved or is currently involved in highly complex cases, representing or advising clients in markets such as telecommunications, healthcare, digital markets (e-commerce and internet), petrochemical, pharmaceutical, payment systems, among others. She has represented or represents clients both in Brazil and abroad through partnerships. Her experience includes both litigation and consultancy in various areas. Her experience also includes providing guidance in these different fields.
Leonor holds a Ph.D. in Economic Law from the University of São Paulo and in International Economic Law from Paris 1 – Panthéon-Sorbonne. She has a Master’s in International Law (Sorbonne) and in Economic Law (Federal University of Minas Gerais), where she also earned her bachelor’s degree. She is Vice-Chair of the Antitrust Committee of the International Bar Association. She is the founder of Women in Antitrust and the Antitrust Officer of the International Bar Association. Leonor is the Brazilian representative in the Global Legal Customs Association (GLCA). She was a visiting researcher with a scholarship at the World Trade Organization. She has held various leadership positions at IBRAC and is a reviewer for the Competition Defense Journal of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE). She is also a mother of twin girls in early childhood.
