Academic Background

Master of Commercial Law from the University of São Paulo – USP. Specialist in Economic Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV (GVLaw). Bachelor of Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo – PUC/SP.


Ricardo advises clients on a full range of both competition and international trade matters. He has widely recognized practice in antitrust matters, including unilateral and dominance cases, cartel investigations, complex merger control cases and compliance programs. He represents clients in administrative proceedings before Cade (including strategic negotiations), as well as in civil litigation lawsuits related to competition matters. Ricardo has represented clients in diverse industries, having solid experience in markets such as, banking/financial, internet, technology, media, retail, pharmaceutical, chemical, and others. He also specializes in cases involving intellectual property and competition. In international trade, he advises clients in tariffs, customs issues, and trade remedies investigations. Ricardo has already been recognized, for his performance, by national and international publications. He is author of publications and articles related to economic law, competition law, and international trade and speaker at national and international seminars.
