João Pedro worked as an antitrust analyst for the Brazilian antitrust authority throughout 2016 and 2017. He has experience in merger controls and antitrust prosecution in regulated markets, such as port services, aviation, and telecommunications, among others. He also holds experience in regulatory and agribusiness law.

João Pedro graduated from the University of Brasília Law School. He is a Specialist by FESMPDFT and was a Visiting Scholar at the Duke University School of Law.
