Graduated from Law School of the University of São Paulo and attended the WIPO Summer School in Geneva, offered by the World Intellectual Property Organization and the University of Geneva.
Mariana deals with competition and data protection law. In competition law, represents clients before the Administrative Council for the Defense of Competition (Cade) in submission of concentration acts and administrative proceedings. Regarding personal data regulation, she assists companies in the adjustment of corporate policies to the Brazilian General Data Protection Law. Collaborated with activities of the Center for Competition and Digital Economy (Nuced), Center for Law, Internet and Society (NDIS) and Luís Gama Human Rights’ Clinic, all within the Law School of the University of São Paulo (USP). Mariana was also teaching assistant during the Intellectual Property Law also in USP.
